The SAND Enterprise Service (SES)


The SAND Enterprise Service (SES) provides the ability to remotely administer multiple SAND databases on a UNIX or Windows server. Remote access to the server is accomplished through the client Windows-based SAND Enterprise Manager, which provides a graphical user interface for the functionality of the SAND Enterprise Service (see the SAND Enterprise Manager help supplied with the SAND CDBMS installation for Windows). Specifically, a DBA can perform the following tasks with SES:

In addition, the SAND Enterprise Service provides the ability to start multiple database instances simultaneously.

The sescmd and sesop client programs can be used to execute SES scripting commands against the SAND Enterprise Service. SES scripting commands can be used to perform the following operations:
