String Function Syntax and Examples


NFTOENF( )

The NFTOENF() function returns an ENF string if the input is a valid NF string. If the input is not a valid NF string, it returns the input string unchanged.

Syntax:

NFTOENF(input-string)

where:

input-string is a string value


Example:

input: 2345.9


IMPORT @sample.dat
{
    RECORD
    {
    field1 *\r\n
    }
    schema1.table1
    {
    column1 NFTOENF(field1)
    }
}

Results:

schema1.table1.column1 2.345,9

Note: In this example column1 must be defined as CHAR or VARCHAR.
