Billed as “strategies, best practices, and instruction for teams that are running and evaluating SAP NetWeaver technology”, SAP NetWeaver BI and Portals is attended by many of SAP’s largest customers - the ones who need to keep more data, for longer, with better access, and in a more cost-effective way.
This year, over 2500 attendees from the US and around the world filled the floor in Las Vegas. In larger numbers than ever, they were seeking out SAND execs and technology experts, thanks to:
- SAP’s new recommendations on ILM, with an online, nearline, and offline strategy
- SAP’s introduction of NetWeaver BI 7.0 with its nearline interace
- SAND/DNA’s certified integration into NetWeaver 7.0’ nearline interface
- Don Marion’s (Accenture) presentation, “Is nearline data archiving the right choice for your SAP BW landscape?”, which included a SAND/DNA for SAP BI customer success story
Next up for Team SAND will be the Partner Pavilion at SAPPHIRE in Atlanta. This is SAP’s largest show, attended by a vast number of companies and end-users. it will be a tremendous opportunity for us to connect with partners and customers, who will be able to hear Dr. Michael Hahne, SAND’s SAP Product Manager, share his wealth of knowledge and experience in two special sessions:
- “Managing Data Growth with the SAP Netweaver 7.0 Platform - BI Nearline Storage“
- “ILM for SAP NetWeaver BI and mySAP ERP at a Telecommunications Company” (with Open Text’s Tom Simmons, Program Manager, Archiving for SAP Solutions)
We hope to see you there!
