Their SAND/DNA solution was set up to automatically archive all billing data older than 401 days in SAND DNA/Access, resulting in a footprint that was 5% of the raw data size. Users who need access to the older data submit their request to the system, which extracts the required data set and loads it into SAND DNA/Analytics, where it is available for high-performance analytics for a specified period. With this solution, the projected size of the archive over the contract period has been reduced to 700 GB.
