ENTEGA is the sales organization for HEAG Südhessischen Energie AG (HSE), as well as for Stadtwerke Mainz AG, the public utility company serving the city of Mainz, Germany. ENTEGA supplies nearly a million people in the Rhine-Main region with energy and water. ENTEGA Service GmbH, a subsidiary based in Darmstadt, Germany, employs around 200 people and is responsible for providing information technology services to the company, as well as billing services and power consumption data.
ENTEGA Service were impressed by the ability of SAND/DNA to compress selected data sets to a very high degree, while still keeping it easily accessible for use in analysis or as the basis for new ODS Objects or InfoCubes.
